Argentine chef Emi Schobert's restaurant was selected as one of the 2023 recommended by the MICHELIN Guide in Spain. “Having been selected by the MICHELIN Guide is an injection of energy and motivation. It is once again keeping in mind that the profession I chose as a means of living gave me everything. The restaurant, opened in October 2019, offers fusion cuisine that creatively combines the best Mediterranean products with the inspiration of the flavors of the sea and the mountains. On the one hand, it offers an a la carte menu with different starters, mains and desserts. And on the other hand, its seven-step tasting menu with pairing stands out, with an innovative and modern look. In his proposal, it is possible to notice in a subtle and harmonious way, some South American touch, unequivocal origin of Schobert, who represented his country twice in the prestigious Bocuse d'Or World Cup of Cuisine. The Argentine chef is also the academic director of the El Obrador Escuela de Arte Culinario in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, in Argentine Patagonia. “In my kitchen, gastronomic influences and lived experiences coexist in a proposal that reinterprets the journey through different products, cultures and techniques,” says Schobert.
The establishment, intimate and charming, has only ten tables and is located in the historic center of Malaga, a few meters from its Cathedral, on Strachan Street.
